The Sunday Edition: April 17th, 2022

Happy Sunday and Happy Easter if you’re celebrating, friend! This week flew by like, I mean at lightning speed, I actually love those weeks even though it sometimes feels like I’m trying to catch my breath all week. To me, when a week or day flies by it means I had a good flow and was working on things that excite me and that was definitely the case this week. We had a meeting with our cabinetry designer to start fleshing out our plans and get moving and grooving on our home reno. We decided on our door style, different additions to drawers like built-in spice racks and knife drawers. Honestly, it was so fun imagining how our new kitchen will function and how much more organized and efficient the space will be.

I also took Thursday off to have a girls day with my sister, we went shopping for lighting in Toronto and out for brunch, it was so fun to have sister time together. For Easter, Topher and I decided to stay home because Topher had a close contact who tested positive. So, instead of travelling to Toronto, we’re making the most of our long weekend at home. We started some flower seeds, cleaned up our garden beds, and we’ve had some special dinners. Tonight, we’re having proscuitto-wrapped chicken with smashed potatoes and asparagus, yum! Next week, I’m getting ready to launch something that’s been on my dream list for a while now, so stay tuned for that, and we have so many good recipes and posts coming down the pipeline.
