The Sunday Edition: June 5th, 2022
Happy June Friend and thanks for joining me for another Sunday Edition! We spent yesterday celebrating our nephew’s third birthday, I can’t believe he’s already three, it feels like time flies when you’re watching a child grow up before your eyes. It’s so fun watching him, he definitely has his entire family wrapped around his little finger!
In other news, we finalized our kitchen design last week which is really exciting, so now everything gets built and installed probably at the end of August or the beginning of September. We’ve decided on Caesarstone Quartz in Frosty Carrina, it has light grey, subtle veining throughout and I think it’ll look phenomenal. Now, we just need to decide on a range. We’re thinking of going with Fisher and Paykel Dual Fuel Range because it seems to have great reviews, it’s definitely on the pricey side, but if the splurge means fewer issues, I think it’s worth it, and it’s not much more than many other brands like Cafe Appliances and Kitchenaid who both have very mixed reviews. If you have any range reviews, please leave them in the comments!

Questions of the week
Q: what were the best books you read in May?
A: The Mothers by Brit Bennett and Don’t Cry For Me by Daniel Black we’re amazing. Highly recommend both of these books!
Q: least favourite food?
A: I don’t love passionfruit or pineapple. I’m not generally a big fruit lover except when Ontario fruit is in season like peaches and strawberries!
Q: what’s your favourite month of the year and season?
A: My favourite month is June or July because there’s still the whole summer to look forward to. Summer is my absolute favourite season.
Q: top five vegetables?
A: This is hard and completely depends on the season, I try really hard to eat seasonally.
Okay, here goes nothing:
Zucchini
Asparagus
Arugula
Broccoli
Potatoes/Sweet potatoes
Q: favourite road trip snack?
A: either Miss Vickies Salt and Vinegar chips or Ruffles All Dressed chips.
